Our Kick Off was a WINNER!!!!
Friendships were established. Skills were reminded. And the passion of sailing was rekindled. Matt Graham worked with the Opti salors the first day showing how to make it around the buoys. The Opti's thrived to see how close to get to the buoys to race around to re-learn the skills of racing. Next, they moved out to the body of the lake and sailed around with the big sailors (Lasers) that Richard Walford was teaching. Later that evening there was a spactaular cook out and fun and games. Sunday morning it was CPR introduction, health, food and nutrition education. Ohhhh, lets not forget the exercising.
Even the coach Matt was out there working out in the grass. (I think we have pictures:))
It was a very fun time to see all of the young sailors endoring the passion of sailing
and learning the skills of racing.
